The internet of things and Smart homes are becoming a hot topics these days, Soviet Union was thinking of their own version around the mid 1980, with the AI controlled households and the interconnection of all the appliances making the lives more comfortable. Soviet Smart Home technology and the Internet were to be used to create more comfortable living conditions in the big Soviet cities.
