Toyota just dropped the new NHTSA Recall 25V767 and this is huge.
In their latest official recall update, Toyota quietly admitted that the ongoing Tundra engine failures might not be just debris-related after all. Hidden inside the new recall documentation, Toyota references “improved main bearings” and updated manufacturing processes, which strongly suggests an engineering problem was part of the issue all along.
In this video, I break down:
What Toyota really said in the new NHTSA recall filing
The updated models and production dates included (2022–2024 Tundra, GX, LX)
What “improved main bearings” could mean for owners
Why Toyota’s “1% failure rate” claim doesn’t hold up
And what this might mean for 2025 and 2026 Tundra buyers moving forward
The language in this recall reveals more than Toyota probably intended and it points to something much deeper than just leftover machining debris.
What do YOU think debris problem, design flaw, or both? Drop your thoughts in the comments.
