Google has made some subtle design tweaks, giving it a more boxy look reminiscent of an iPhone, while maintaining its distinctive Pixel features like the iconic visor. The display is impressive with a 6.8-inch OLED, 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 3,000 nits brightness, making it great for outdoor use—even while flying a drone!
Powered by Google’s new Tensor G4 chip and 16GB RAM, this phone handles multitasking, gaming, and everyday tasks effortlessly, though it’s not the fastest chip on the market. The new Magic Eraser 2.0 and 'Add Me' features enhance photo experiences, while the Pixel Studio app offers creative AI-generated images. However, issues like Pandora draining battery in the background persist.
The 5,060mAh battery offers reliable all-day performance, and with 45W fast charging, you can quickly juice up. The camera setup is top-notch, with a 50MP main sensor, 48MP ultrawide, and 48MP telephoto lens, delivering exceptional photos. The 42MP selfie camera also provides high detail, though the video quality isn't as sharp as some competitors.
Verdict: The Pixel 9 Pro XL is a strong contender in the Android market, offering excellent photo quality, smooth performance, and a vibrant display. If you value a clean software experience and long-term support, this phone is a solid choice.
